
What is Pleasant Valley FIRST?
PVCSD FIRST is any student, mentor, or faculty member who participates in FIRST’s many robotics programs through the school. Robotics is more than just building a robot. Students will learn engineering skills alongside problem solving, teamwork, and media skills for everyday life.

What Can You Participate In?

FTC focuses on design, programming, and operating a robot. Teams can grow up to fifteen members from PVCSD students in grades 9-12 for this alliance style competition.

FRC focuses on all the same aspects of FTC, but has a few unique other focuses. FRC's unique focuses include fundraising, branding, large scale teamwork skills, and industrial sized robots. Teams can have an unlimited members from grades 9-12 in PVCSD for this alliance style competition.
